Credit Controller - Tulliallan Asphalt Plant, FK10 4DT

Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller based at our Tulliallan Site.

The successful candidate will be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well a part of a team in a busy office environment.

Hours -  9am – 5pm Monday to Friday with additional hours depending on the needs of the business.

 

Key Duties Include:

  • Running credit checks and opening new credit accounts in line with Tillicoultry Quarries terms and conditions
  • Ensure payments due are recovered within agreed timescales
  • Daily banking duties
  • Communicate issues around delayed payments back to the business effectively
  • Manage disputes and escalate where necessary
  • Build and develop excellent relationships with customers
  • Processing monthly statements

 As our Credit Controller, it is essential that you have:

  •  Experience working in a similar role.
  • Polite and professional and courteous approach to dealing with customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills.
  •  Excellent organisational, time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent IT Skills, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.

HGV Driver - Tulliallan FK10 4DT

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Driver based at our Tulliallan Asphalt Plant.

This opportunity attracts a competitive rate of pay which includes enhanced rates for overtime and 10 day’s holiday over the Christmas period. Tillicoultry Quarries also operates with new Scania vehicles and offers excellent training and career progression opportunities.

Who we are looking for

It is essential that successful candidates have:

·         CPC card and full 35hrs

·         Experience working with digital tachographs.

·         Strong awareness of Driver Regulations specifically relating to Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations.

·         A keen interest and commitment to Health and Safety, and Environmental matters.

·         A willingness to work under pressure in a challenging, fast paced environment.

·         A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required including weekends.

·         Strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering quality standards to our customers.

Mixer, tipper and articulated experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Quarry Labourers - Northfield Quarry, Denny, FK6 6RB, Ryeflatts Quarry,Carnwath, ML11 8SA, Hillend Quarry, Caldercruix, ML6 8NY

We currently have some exciting opportunities for Quarry Labourers at our Hard Rock Quarries in Denny and Caldercruix and our Sand and Gravel Quarry in Carnwath.

Key duties will include:

  • Ensuring the efficient running and housekeeping of the sand plant - conveyors, hoppers, chutes and screens.
  • General housekeeping of the site, site office and containers.
  • Weighbridge duties when required.
  • Assisting with maintenance of the haul roads.
  • Mobile plant operations
  • All other duties as required.

  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the site at all times.
  • Mobile Plant Operations
  • General housekeeping duties.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for

It is essential that successful candidates have:

  • A keen interest and commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental matters.
  • Valid MPQC mobile plant tickets and or Plant Operations SVQ Level 2.
  • A willingness to work under pressure in a challenging, fast paced environment.
  • A willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually as required.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality standards to our customers.
  • Full driving license.

Mobile Plant Skills with valid MPQC tickets in either 360 excavator and or wheel loading shovel.

Experience and qualifications in quarrying disciplines including mobile crushing and screening is desirable but not essential for the role as all relevant training will be provided
