Tillicoultry Quarries Ltd is a successful family owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry throughout Central Scotland.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a PA/Administrator based at our Northfield Quarry in Denny.

The hours for this role are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday with some weekend working required depending on the needs of the business.

In this role you will provide PA and administrative support to the Director whilst also providing administrative support to the HR Manager and other support functions across the business where required.

Duties will include:

Efficient and proactive diary management
Business travel planning and organisation
Preparing agendas and taking minutes
Managing email inboxes and incoming post
Maintaining office supply levels
Providing administrative support to the Director, HR Manager and other areas of the business as required.

As our PA/Administrator, it is essential that you have:

A polite, professional and confident approach to dealing with people across all levels of the business.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent IT Skills, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.

 

Experience working in a similar role within the construction industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

Quarry Fitter - Northfield, Denny, FK6 6RB

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Quarry Fitter at our Northfield Quarry in Denny.

You will carry out planned, preventive and breakdown maintenance activities and repairs on our Drystone Crushing & Screening Plants, Asphalt, Concrete & Washing plants.

Who we are looking for

·         Experience working in a heavy industry environment.

·         A keen interest and commitment to Health and Safety and Environmental matters.

·         A willingness to work under pressure in a challenging, fast paced environment

·         A flexible approach to working hours including shift work and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business where and when required.

·         Ability to work as part of a team and individually on their own initiative as required.

·         Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality standards to our customers.

·         Full driving license.

·         SVQ Level 3 in Construction Plant Maintenance is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

·         Previous mechanical experience is required.

HGV Drivers - Tulliallan FK10 4DT

We currently have some exciting opportunities for Class 1 (CE) and Class 2 (C) HGV Drivers based at our Asphalt Plant in Kincardine.

This opportunity attracts a competitive rate of pay which includes enhanced rates for overtime and 10 day’s holiday over the Christmas period. Tillicoultry Quarries also operates with new Scania vehicles and offers excellent training and career progression opportunities.

Who we are looking for

It is essential that successful candidates have:

·         CPC card and full 35hrs

·         Experience working with digital tachographs.

·         Strong awareness of Driver Regulations specifically relating to Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations.

Weighbridge/Transport Co-ordinator - Newtongrange Dalkeith EH22 4QN

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Weighbridge/Transport Co-ordinator based at our Newtongrange Site. The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day running of the transport operation across the South East of Scotland.

The successful candidate will be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well a part of a team in a busy office environment.

Hours:

·         6am – 4pm Monday to Friday with some weekend working required depending on the needs of the business.

Key Duties Include:

·         Operating the weighbridge, matching and filing weighbridge tickets.

·         Planning and organisation of vehicles to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.

·         Dealing with general customer enquiries, i.e. orders, deliveries.

·         Assist with scheduling in line with customer delivery requirements.

·         Liaise with other sites regarding customer requirements.

·         General office administration, filing, data input, checking emails.

Accounts Administrator - Tulliallan, Kincardine -on- Forth, FK10 4DT

Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Administrator has arisen at our Tulliallan Head Office, based in Kincardine.

·         High volume invoice input into the accounting system

·         Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes

·         Reconciliation of supplier accounts

·         Dealing with supplier queries in a timely manner
